Entrepreneur income reports have increased in popularity over the years and for good reason. If you are like me, reading the old profit and loss statement version of income reports is like taking a sleeping pill. However, these new income reports are purposely visually appealing, while providing transparency, lessons learned and helpful marketing strategies.

For many entrepreneurs, the enticement of income reports stems from the need to either see what the competition is doing; or for the novice, to gain new tips and strategies.

If your purpose is to educate your audience, include some details on how a particular strategy worked for your business. List some resources that have worked for you. A new software platform! A tip on email marketing! But remember that word transparency? Remember to list the cost of using that new software!
