Emergency Air Conditioning Repair

5 Good Reasons To Renovate Your Business Premises

Keeping cool in the Summer is always a big part of feeling comfortable throughout the day, especially in the workplace. If the temperature is too hot then it can make you feel restless and unmotivated. It is better to feel slightly cooler because you can wear an extra jumper but when you start to get hot flushes it can be really hard to complete your work.

Air conditioning

Air conditioning is the easiest way to keep a room cool for long periods of time. Although it can break from time to time you can get an Emergency Air Conditioning Repair to ensure that you are cool when you are working. Without your air con it can gain temperature because there is no warm air being replenished into cooler air. Rather than having fans that push the hot air around, air can take away the hot air and replace it with colder air so it is more comfortable for you to work in. Ensure that you have regular checks completed on your air con to avoid any periods of time when it is broken or bunged up with dust and dirt.

Avoid sun from coming in

Closing your blinds can make a massive difference when it comes to the overall temperature in a room. When you shut away the direct sun rays it can cool a room fairly fast. Black out blinds can be an easier method to block the heat if your desk is directly opposite. If you have metallic blinds or other heat attracting materials then this can have the opposite effect and make the room hotter. Another way you can close the sun out is to close the doors and seal any gaps to keep your cool air where you need it. You’ll find that the air will become less stuffy and will be easier to breathe in, this will ensure that cooler air can get into your lungs allowing your body to cool. Keep the windows open as you do these things to allow a wind to come in. If you have a side of the building that is in the shade then those will be the better windows to open. Putting a reflective material on the outside of the windows will help to reflect the sunlight to keep your workplace cool.

Think about what you can do

Drinking cold drinks will keep your body cool, whilst applying cold compresses on your body such as your feet or neck such as a cooling neck pillow as this can release a lot of tension that can form when you are hot. Having a cold shower before and after your work day will help to lower your body temperature before you put your clothes on. When it comes to picking out your clothes for the day, opt for breathable fabrics such as cottons because these are lightweight but also loose that it will allow air to come into your body. Tight fitting clothing will make you feel comfortable and will encourage sweat patches which are not professional looking when attending meetings with clients.
