3 Tips On Showing Your Customer Appreciation

How to Make Life Easier For Your Customers

Your customers are one part of the bread and butter of your company. And, many entrepreneurs fail to show customer appreciation at even the basic level. You’ll market to them, you’ll sell to them, and you’ll spam them with emails for the almighty dollar. But are you really paying attention to them? Your customers need to know that you grateful for their loyalty. Here are a few ideas you might want to consider.

Shower Them With Gifts

Customer appreciation is part of cultivating relationships. It means to go beyond the transaction, and really getting to know your customers. Find out a few things about your customers like birthdays, favorite colors, etc. Throughout the year, treat your loyal customers with a special gift. Corporate flowers are something you might like to consider. A small bouquet of flowers for someone’s birthday or anniversary goes a long way to nurturing a relationship. Bear in mind though, it’s all about knowing your recipient. This is why it’s important to build that bond from the early stages. Get to know them in ways that aren’t related to business.

Show Your Appreciation

There are plenty of other ways that you can show your appreciation, you don’t have to keep sending gifts each week. You could easily just use verbal communication, especially to shop customers. A happy smile, questions about their day, and a thank you for using your store is all it will take to leave them walking out of the door smiling. It’s a tactic that so many fail to use. Think about how many times you’ve been into a shop an dealt with the moodiest employee in the world, and it has tarnished that company for you!

Make Every Contact Count

Making every contact count is all about ensuring you anticipate what your customer wants and needs. It’s not about being nice or giving gifts, it’s about understanding the people you work with. We’re thinking about things such as market research, or even just simple communication to find out what it is that they might need. Therefore going forward, you can always make sure that every contact you make does count!
