As small business owners, we need to collaborate.
Not tear each other down!
I believe in competition, healthy competition. But I truly believe in collaboration, especially among small business owners. Too often we see entrepreneurs in the same industry working hard to diminish the accomplishments and capabilities of the competition.
Besides the fact that “Ain’t nobody got time for that!” (excuse the slang), I personally benefit most when working with and acknowledging the successes of fellow entrepreneurs.
So why collaborate?
1. Collaboration is inspirational!
2. Collaboration will grow your professional network.
3. Collaboration can save you time and resources… including money.
4. Collaboration is FREE education… most of the time.
So the next time you get the urge to post, tweet, or blab about why the next entrepreneur is not up to your level, take a breath, smell the roses, stop hating and collaborate!!!
