5 Ways To Grab Attention At Trade Show Events

Trade show events can be a brilliant way to get your brand and products seen by the public. Visitors to your booth can test your products, and learn more about your business. This is also a great way to establish trust with your target audience. However, in order to ensure you grab the attention of a passerby, you must be set up for success.

Make Your Stand Appealing

You want your stand to be appealing so that the people wandering around are attracted to it. It needs to be a cut above the rest in its design. At trade show events, it is easy for the stands to all blend in together visually. Be sure to use your brand colors and images to make your booth stand out. This also establishes your brand image and sets you apart from your competitors. You may also want to display videos to portray your brand.

Free Gifts

Free gifts printed with your brand logo are a great way to ensure that people remember your business. Items such as key rings and mugs are fine but why not opt for something more unusual?  There is no end of things that your company logo can be put onto, some of which people will be queuing up to get. Headphones, socks, t-shirts, and sunglasses are all good gifts but there might be something else related to the products you are promoting.

Every stand people go to will give them a bag of literature and samples. Make your branded bag larger than anyone else’s, and reusable. A larger bag will allow them to put the smaller ones into it and will serve as walking advertisement during the event.

Staff On The Stand

The staff on the stand should be engaged. Even if they have nothing to do, they need to appear busy at all times. They need to greet everyone with a smile and be as helpful as possible. Wearing woven lanyards, printed with your company’s info, will immediately identify them as belonging to your company. It also helps to reinforce your brand’s identity. Just make sure that you send the most engaging staff so that you can be sure that’s a good thing. You need to make sure there are enough of them to allow for breaks during the event.

Research The Competition

Walk around the event as other companies are setting up their stands and check out the competition. Take note of their displays to ensure your setup is vastly different. If there are similarities, make some slight adjustments to your stand. You may also see some good ideas for attracting the visitors. Are they giving away free candy or holding a competition? Or maybe they have some really quirky way of getting people to their stand. It is not too late to make changes, as long as they are nothing major.

The Popularity Of Trade Show Events

The advent of the digital world has changed the way much of the marketing for companies is handled. One thing that has not changed though is the popularity of trade show events. They have always been a great way of increasing brand awareness and growing your audience.
