How Office Decor Can Increase Your Business Credibility

It is only human to want to be acknowledged and rewarded for your accomplishments. Why should businesses be any different? Prominently displaying your awards, recognitions, and even your company logo increases your business credibility. When other business leaders and investors walk into your office, they will immediately sense an air of authority. If you want to project an image that you are at the top of your industry, carefully display symbols of your status throughout the workplace.

Like it or not, the way we dress has an impact on our image. The exact same thing happens to our place of work. If you’re a multi-billion dollar company with basic office decor, the chances of you impressing clients are slim. However, even with a small business, if you project an image of prestige, you will sway the right people. The corridor from the waiting room to your main office should be the first area to focus on.

Dominant But Subtle

Your business logo and name should be the first things clients and visitors see when they approach your office. Just keep it one per wall and if it’s a particularly long wall, then splice it up into one logo and name for every 30-40 feet. When important people to your business are waiting in the lobby, they should be able to see that you have claimed the building that you work in. It’s a symbol of stability but also taking pride that this space is a reflection of your business success.

You can have your logo and name of the business just like you do on your website, services package, and products. However, having your logo and name in silver or stainless steel is even more impressive. It’s not chrome or gold so you’re not shouting obscenely about it. Silver is a great mark of elegance but not being overly pedantic.

Proudly on Display

As your business partners and investors walk through the corridor that leads to your office, they should be looking at your most notable accomplishments. Awards of achievement, recognizing your prestige during a certain year or development of something that has sold successfully. However the wall itself will need to be highlighted or in fact, just fit an LED lighted wall display shelving that houses such accolades. The light around the outside and inside borders shine in many different colors. It’s recommended to have your achievements lit up in paper white or a slight neon blue hue. Nobody can miss the display shelf with this kind of lighting, so if you have it, flaunt it.

You always see large corporations showing off their awards in their corridors. Doing so adds that unspoken credibility that your business needs to succeed.
