Internal marketing to your existing patient base, cross-promotion with someone else’s patient base, or professional referrals are all viable options. In addition, your receptions area needs to be warm and welcoming, with staff who greet everyone pleasantly and with a smile. If they are asked questions they cannot answer, they should be honest and fetch someone who knows the answers. People appreciate honesty. Furthermore, it will help to build trust in your new healthcare business.

Have a goal to aim for to help motivate you, as an entrepreneur, and your staff. The launch of your ancillary product or service should be well planned with your goal in mind. Remember that your biggest critics will be yourself and the patients. Patients are in effect your consumers, and they have every right to complain if the product or service falls below par. A good product that the patients are happy with means you are far more likely to achieve your goal.
