To truly market to your demographic business owners have to learn as much about them as possible. This can include ages, gender, income and buying patterns, in addition to pain points. After all, the goal in business is to solve a problem better than the competition.

Your demographic is the group of individuals who you intend to sell your products to.  Every business has a demographic, regardless of your industry to niche. Narrowing down your audience involves gathering specific data, market testing, and trial and error.

Consumer feedback will help determine your competitive strategy and how you choose to price your products. This, of course, is invaluable when it comes to ensuring that your business and the items that it provides are both appealing and will generate profit.
