The Entrepreneur’s Guide To Charitable Fundraising Ideas

It’s always a good idea to connect your business to a charity. This is a brilliant way to help improve your company’s overall reputation with the public as well as increasing the number of people who want to come and work with your team. After all, lots of people are now very socially minded and want to be associated with businesses and organizations that are trying to help those who aren’t so well off and make a positive impact in the world. So, finding a charity and partnering up with them could be the perfect way to give your little business a bit of a boost. Plus, you can do some good by helping them raise some much-needed cash. Here are some excellent fundraising ideas for your company.

Create A Charity Wall Or Path

If you own your own office space, you will be able to create your own charity wall or path. This is when you sell bricks that can be personalized to the public. The engraved bricks are then used to make a new wall or path. Don’t worry; you don’t have to knock down one of your office’s current walls – you could just use them to make an ornamental charity wall. People will love buying the bricks because they will get their name permanently engraved onto a wall that will stand for a few years to come!

Hold A Bake Sale

If you have a few employees working in your office, you might want to see if people are interested in holding a bake sale. Everyone just needs to bake a cake or some cookies to bring into work. Then, everyone can buy the yummy treats that are on offer. If you are quite a sizeable company and have an office in the center of town, you could always sell the cakes in a public area to try and make as much cash as possible!

Host An Event

It’s also a good idea to consider hosting a bigger event, such as a charity dinner or an auction of promises. These bigger events will be a great way to raise some large sums of cash. However, you will also need to pay quite a bit more to organize them. For instance, you will need to pay to hire a venue and, if you want to host a charity dinner, you will need to also hire a catering company.

Company Car Wash

Want to inject some fun into your office’s fundraising efforts? If so, why not plan a company car wash? All you need to do is get plenty of buckets and car soap and then get all of your employees out into the carpark. Put up plenty of signs so that drivers know to turn into your carpark to get their car washed! You might want to do this on a Saturday or Sunday so that it doesn’t interfere with your company’s operations.

Good luck trying to raise as much money as possible – the ideas above should really help you!
